DT Day for Meljen's Designs - December 2013

Hello Lovelies!

 

I have the pleasure of sharing the last DT Day post for 2013 over at Meljen's Designs and it's a little Christmas inspiration for you all! I just love Christmas, I mean who doesn't love getting into the festive spirit.

 

Nobody said Christmas colours have to be red and green! I love using silver, pinks, green and teals....and I think you will soon agree that it's very effective! Plus Buddy the Fox 'Christmas Buddy' looks so cute all tangled up in xmas lights showcasing non traditional Xmas colours.

 



 

I coloured Buddy in with Copic Markers, the star sparkles with a little ice stickles and the xmas lights stand out with some glossy accents! Backing the image onto silver foil card makes it pop and ties in nicely with the red foil spots on the designer paper! All finished off with a little ribbon tags in coordinating colours and a dangling snowflake charm!

Meljen's Designs Challenge #189 ~ Christmas Tags!

Good Morning!

 

Today, I am bringing you my DT entry for this week's Meljen's Challenge! This week it's "Christmas Tags"! You can enter the challenge and view all the fantastic design teams creations over at the blog!

 

 

 

I have chosen Snowman Cupcake as my Meljen's Digi and this delicious little snowman has been coloured in with Copic Markers! A touch of glitter on the bow and swirls adds a little festive spirit! I used rub ons for the "to" and "from" and the tag base is a Kaszazz tag oh and so is the little diamante circle around the top! The gorgeous ribbon is from Stampin' Up and the FUN Designer Paper is KaiserCraft's Christmas Carnival Collection! I love love LOVE the colours in this collection!
