First of all I would like to wish my beautiful mum a very Happy Mother's Day!
I would also like to wish all the mums out there a Happy Mother's Day too xx
Well seing as though my mum works night shift as a nurse I knew she would be sleeping most of today so I decided to go and see her yesterday for Mother's Day!
Alongside all the little gifts I'd bought her and gave to her early I decided to suprise her with something handmade! And of course she loved it!!
So a little treat for you, I;m sharing a picture of my proud Mother's Day Pressie to my mum for 2011 - a Handmade KaiserCraft Calendar!!! Front and Back pictures shown below...
I used Kaiser Acrylic Paint in Antique White and Blossom (mixed and sponged)! I used a few sheets of the new range of Kaiser Craft, Chanteuse Collection with matching Bazzil Cardstock and rub-ons, Mum's Cricut machine for the letters and numbers, Cream 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Blossom Paper Roses and pink and antique Pearls! And to top it off a cherished wedding photo!
Considering my mum's favourite colour is purple I was a little worried choosing this colour scheme however I knew she loved the Chanteuse Collection from one of our many craft shop visits so I just had to take the risk!!!
Well I hope you all like BUT most importantly Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful Mum ~ I love you with all my heart and I always will cherish our friendship xx
Much Love xx Melinda Jane xx
