DT Day for Meljen's Designs - December 2013

Hello Lovelies!

 

I have the pleasure of sharing the last DT Day post for 2013 over at Meljen's Designs and it's a little Christmas inspiration for you all! I just love Christmas, I mean who doesn't love getting into the festive spirit.

 

Nobody said Christmas colours have to be red and green! I love using silver, pinks, green and teals....and I think you will soon agree that it's very effective! Plus Buddy the Fox 'Christmas Buddy' looks so cute all tangled up in xmas lights showcasing non traditional Xmas colours.

 



 

I coloured Buddy in with Copic Markers, the star sparkles with a little ice stickles and the xmas lights stand out with some glossy accents! Backing the image onto silver foil card makes it pop and ties in nicely with the red foil spots on the designer paper! All finished off with a little ribbon tags in coordinating colours and a dangling snowflake charm!

DT Day Post for Meljen's Designs

Hi Lovelies, I am back again with my DT Day post and I have some festive inspiration for you! Considering Christmas is less than a month away I figured I better start making some Christmas cards and I really couldn't go past the cute little Stuffed Reindeer!

He has been coloured with Prisma Pencils and I have added a little Ice Stickles and glossy accents to the bells and his nose! I've turned an A5 card into a square card by offsetting the image! And then jazzed up with a little ribbon on the sides. I hope I have inspired you to get a little festive with your cards!!!!

My first DT Day post for Meljen's!

Today my first DT Day post has gone live on the Meljen's Design Team and Challenge Blog...you can check it out here!

 

On the weekend my mum and I had one of our regular mother-daughter craft days and we decided to work on some Baby Shower invites for a friend! Her Baby theme is Monkeys and I knew that Meljen's Digi Monkey Toes would be just perfect for this cute little project!

 

 

The image has been coloured in with Copic Markers, and the invite has been embellished with a little brown plaid bow, which compliments Monkey Toes perfectly! Please excuse the writing at the bottom, for privacy I have blanked out some details :) I can't wait to see what she thinks and to hear what you think of this cute little invite!
